Cacophonies is a weekly radio show presented by Maki every sunday at 10 pm. Rebroadcast every friday at midnight.

Photographer, composer, DJ and radio presenter since the beginning of the 80’s in Marseille… Maki produce since 1996 the radio broadcast « cacophonies » on radio Grenouille.

This weekly broadscast has been internationaly acclaimed as a reference about « out of the norms » music in the large sense of the word, including improvised music, contemporary music, electroacoustics, experimental music, avant-rock, free jazz, electronic music, sound poetry, and so on…

Maki also do from time to time special live broadcasts inviting artists to meet and play live sessions (Otomo Yoshihide, Tom Cora, Barre Phillips, Noël Akchoté, Erik M, Pauline Oliveros, Ron Anderson, etc…)

Cacophonies was the first musical radio show in France to be retransmited live online (sound and image) on internet…
