Le parisien Lawkyz est un véritable touche à tout. Contrebassite de formation, il a collaboré entre autres avec Erik Truffaz, Amayo (Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra), The Herbaliser… , dj, beatmaker, animateur radio sur le Mellotron (1 mardi sur 2 de 18h00 à 19h), on le retrouve plus récemment engagé dans les projets Anna Kova, Elodie Rama, Mattic (dj), Astrid Engberg (beatmaker/bassiste).Ce sont tous ces artistes (auxquels on peut rajouter Pumpkin, Bruce Sherfield, …) que l’on retrouve que son premier EP solo « The Waxidermist ». Des productions soyeuses comme autant d’écrins offerts à tous ces featurings « familiaux ». Lawkyz est en direct avec Mars Blckmn et vous offre une playlist dévoilant ses influences, et un mix dans l’overtime à écouter et réécouter sans modération.
